Portfolio Creation & Asset Allocation for Long Term Wealth

Overview

An investor may invest in many different stocks and may be quite familiar with how individual stocks perform but most investors do not actually monitor the overall performance and risk of their stock portfolios. This is because portfolio creation and management is different from stock analysis.

This foundational course introduces the basic principles of modern portfolio theory, asset allocation and risk management. By calculating expected portfolio performance and risk, this course teaches participants how to analyse their stock portfolio using the same approach employed by professional fund managers rather than relying on ‘gut feeling.

Key Highlights

  • Asset allocation and stock rotation strategies
  • The important things to take note of when creating a portfolio
