Elite Commercial REIT is the only Singapore-listed UK REIT and owns over 150 properties across the UK. These mainly freehold1 buildings are valued at an aggregate of £466.2 million2 as at 31 Dec 2022, with a net internal area of ~3.9 million sq ft. The properties are strategically located mainly in town centres and near amenities and transportation nodes. The portfolio offers stable government-backed income stream, and the leases are on full repairing and insuring basis, mainly leased to the UK’s Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). The DWP is the UK Government's largest public service department, responsible for administering the country's state pension, welfare and child maintenance policy, serving over 20 million claimants. DWP is a uniquely resilient occupier and the portfolio is part of the crucial public infrastructure through which DWP provides essential services to the community.
